is a North Carolina native - raised in
Duplin County (Faison), where she still has family. Her faith was formed by family, friends and
the members of Faison Presyberian Church, a small church of about 65 members. She attended Queens College in Charlotte and earned a Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Tennessee (’90). Tuck entered Duke
Divinity School as a student pastor in 2004, earned her Masters of Divinity in
2008, and was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church in 2011. She has
been formed and blessed by serving the Sarecta/Wesley Chapel Charge in rural
Duplin County, Amity UMC in Chapel Hill, and, most recently, a dual appointment
as Assistant to the Heritage District Superintendent and as Pastor of Black
Creek UMC outside of Wilson.
Tuck is married to George Loveland, also a United Methodist pastor. George currently serves Winstead
UMC here in Wilson. George and Tuck have been married for 7 years, and together they have 6
children: George has 2 daughters; Tuck has 4 sons. They range in age from 16-27. The 16 year old, Tuck's son Andrew, is the only one still at home, but he too will be flying out of the nest this fall to attend NC School of Science and Math in Durham.

quiet evening at home, dinner out with
friends and/or family, a local baseball game, or short trips (and long ones when possible!) to the beach or
First joining the professional staff as Director of Youth Ministries, Lori's new official title is Director of Children and Youth Ministries. She directs our two youth groups, working with the youth, parents and their volunteers. She also directs our weekday preschool program and is seen all over the building on Sunday mornings making sure everyone is in their place for the children's Sunday School classes and she leads our Children's Church in the 11am service. Lori is married , and has three children, two grown, (Jessica & Andrew) and one who is in the youth group, (Clayton). You can contact Lori by email or call the church office.
Joan comes to as a retired music educator and also has served churches as choir director for 16 years. She has a voice major and a piano minor from Spring Arbor University with Graduate work from Kansas University. She sings with the recently formed Rocky Mount Chamber Singers. She is enjoying and feels blessed to be a part of the West Nash Street Staff!
I’m currently in my third year at East Carolina University studying Music Education where I also study voice, piano, and organ. My home is in Richlands, North Carolina where I have lived all of my life before moving to Greenville to further my education. I sing with the 'ECU Chamber Singers' where I have traveled to perform all over North Carolina and some parts of Europe. I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and has always found it to be a huge part of my life.
I have felt so welcomed and loved at West Nash and look forward to worshiping with you all.
Jim comes to the office of West Nash United Methodist Church after retiring from careers with the U.S. Coast Guard and the State of North Carolina. A native of Elizabeth City, he and his wife Fay recently became members of West Nash having relocated to Wilson to be nearer to children and grandchildren. Jim and Fay report much happiness in finding such a great new church home.
