Faithful-Living Forums
Faithful-Living Forums return, November 10th
John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, taught that works of piety (such as prayer, fasting, Holy Communion, scripture study) and works of mercy (such as feeding the hungry, vising the sick, addressing injustice) are both necessary to grow in faith and spiritual wholeness. We cannot separate our lives of faith from our day-to-day living. Faithful-Living Forums are designed to help us grow in piety and mercy as we explore ways to engage in our life together and with the community.
Please plan to join us in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday, immediately following Worship. Coffee, juice and refreshments will be served as we hear from a variety of speakers, community leaders, and faith teachers.
Our first forum will be a session of visioning for the future of West Nash. Your voice is needed! Please join us this Sunday, November 10th, as we continue our faithful-living journey together.
