Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
Nearly 1 in 6 children is challenged by Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, and cognitive and developmental disabilities – often preventing these children and their families from engaging in church and church school activities. At West Nash UMC we welcome all God’s precious children, and we seek to provide a place where each one will encounter God’s love, grow in Christian understanding, and enjoy fun fellowship with others. It hurts us to think that any child might not feel welcome, and so we make every effort to provide a space that is fun, spiritually enriching, safe, and full of God’s love, for children ages 4-18 with disabilities. So, yes, let all the children come!
