Where is the Church?
West Nash is located at 2200 Nash St North in Wilson.
Where do I park?
Parking is available in the rear of the church. The parking lot can be accessed from Nash Street in front of the church or from Brentwood Center Lane at the rear of the church.
What makes West Nash unique?
The congregation is sixty years old, and is traditional without being bound by tradition. The church is established but growing. We are willing to try new things as we answer God’s call upon our lives. All are welcome at West Nash UMC. No exceptions.
What should I wear to West Nash?
Whatever makes you comfortable. You will see men in suits and ties as well as casual sport shirts. You will see women wearing skirts, dresses, and slacks.
How long are services?
Our weekly worship service lasts about 1 hour.
Will I be singled out in any way as a visitor?
At West Nash, you’ll never be put on the spot, never feel forced to give money, and never embarrassed. We would like for you to complete the Attendance Registration so that we can have a record of your visit.
Where do my kids go during the service?
All children can attend services with their parents, but our church does provide a nursery for children who have not yet started kindergarten. School-aged children, kindergarten and up, stay in the worship service with parents. There are Sunday School classes for all ages from 11:15-Noon.
If you have a teenager, they are invited to attend the service with you. Many of our youth sit together and would welcome having your teenager with them. There are also youth activities specifically for them on Sunday nights. The youth group meets in “The Building Out Back” (TBOB).
When do I need to arrive?
Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of worship or Bible study.
