Pastor BJ grew up in east Tennessee and worked as a bench scientist and lab manager for 25 years before being called to trade in his lab coat for an alb. His passion for the saving grace found in God’s word is grounded in his personal experience and fuels his desire to remove barriers to belief, such as the perceived false dichotomy between science and faith. He met his wife Aimee at the University of Tennessee (UT) with whom he has one child Louis, a jazz performance student at UT. A Bulldog named Duke completes their family.
